HoTC2: next phase…

We are excited to announce that we will be marketing the next phase of the HoTC2 scheme.  Now in the planning stage, Sheffield City Council and their chosen developer, Queensberry, have revealed that they are looking to build:

  1. The Cambridge Street Collective: a cultural gathering of Sheffield’s best flavours, sights and sounds.   The idea is to create a centre for people to meet, socialise, eat, drink and be entertained.  Proposals include a large, stripped-back, industrial-style space, which will incorporate the historic character of the Bethel Sunday School (ie the historic facades will be retained and sympathetic materials will be used). A new structure will be added behind, designed to complement the older architecture.  Wrapping around this large space will be complementary shops, a bar and restaurant, and an upper level leisure space. Next to the communal hall offer will be the renovated Bethel Chapel, with plans for this to become a live music venue.
  2. Block H: a visually striking, brand new, low carbon building offering c.70,000 sq ft of Grade A office space, split across seven upper
floors and boasting an impressive south facing roof terrace. The ground floor would provide individual retail or
    food and beverage units.
