We are very pleased to note that the regeneration of Park Hill – which is being undertaken by our client Urban Splash (and its joint venture partner Places for People) – has reached another milestone. The proposed Park Hill Art Space has received planning permission, through a unanimous vote by the Council’s Planning Committee.
The Art Space phase is proposed as a national flagship project which will transform the heart of Park Hill, providing a world class destination for arts, culture and heritage. Underlining Sheffield’s role as a key player in the Northern Powerhouse, Urban Splash state that “Park Hill Art Space will be a major economic driver for the city, acting as a catalyst for its visitor economy and a creative industry incubator encouraging inward investment”.
The First Phase of the redevelopment has already been completed, with Phase Two of the commercial space due to commence imminently. More details on this exciting new phase will follow shortly! In the meantime, for more details about the Art Space, see:
