Sheffield is on the up: 32 Eyre Street

We are pleased to announce that – subject to contract – half of the office premises at 32 Eyre Street have been let by our client Makepeace Investments.  Having been unoccupied for 10 years, 32 Eyre Street has been the subject of a £4m investment in the form of an extensive renovation programme.  We see this as a sign of businesses addressing the increasing lack of quality office space in Sheffield (ie it is worth their providing the capital outlay for improvements).

In a recent article in The Star, our own Tim Bottrill highlights that there has also been lots of interest in four (of six) empty shops on the ground floor of the seven-storey building, formerly occupied by HSBC and known as Deacon House.  The marketing of 32 Eyre Street is aimed at smaller, creative and digital industries.  If you are interested in starting or relocating your business into an increasingly busy and vibrant location, why not get in touch?  As we say in the article, “There’s so much going on down here, the area is just going to get busier.” Next and H&M are set to open on The Moor which is already busy. New Era Square on Bramall Lane is under construction and Platform has submitted an application for more than 350 build-to-rent flats on Sylvester Street.  See:
